Mark Smith

Mark is the President of the Yuma Irrigation District Board of Directors and has served in this role since 1995.

He is also the President of Smith Farms Company of Yuma, a family farming operation specializing in the production of winter vegetables, both conventional and organic.

Mark attended the University of Arizona and received a BS in Agronomy and Plant Genetics and Agricultural Business in 1977.

After college, he worked for JG Boswell Company Kern Lake Ranch Bakersfield, California as an agronomist.
